Journeys: Stomach. Stop 5

Full stomach

The stomach is like a little bag that can stretch. Drag the food into the stomach!

The stomach stretches so that all the food fits in.

That's enough! The walls have stretched, and nerves told the brain you're full.

An empty stomach is the size of your fist, and a full one gets several times bigger. The brain notices you're full a bit later, so eat slowly.
