The smell flies

Mmm, something smells of pie! How does a smell find the nose? Wave your hand from the pie to Growney!

A smell is made of tiny bits. They fly off the pie and float through the air.

Wave towards Growney!

The bits flew into the nose and Growney knew it was pie! Warm food sends off more of them, so it smells stronger.
