Journeys: Skin. Stop 4
Heat and frost
Drag the thermometer's red line up into the heat!
It's hot! The skin lets out sweat. It dries and cools you down. Look through the magnifier.
The sun is scorching! Drag the sun hat onto the head.
Now drag the line down into the frost.
It's freezing! A tiny muscle under each hair tightens. The hairs stand up, and you get goosebumps.
It's cold! Drag the warm hat onto the head.
Skin looks after your warmth. In the heat it sweats, and in the frost it keeps the warmth in. So dress for the weather!
