Journeys: Liver. Stop 5

Sorting station

The blood carries all sorts of things! Drag sugar up to the pantry, rubbish down to the bin, and let food go by.

The sugar is in the pantry! The liver will give it out when the body needs energy.

The rubbish is in the bin! The liver makes it harmless.

Some rubbish slipped through! Catch it and drag it down.

Oops, not there! Sugar goes to the pantry, rubbish goes in the bin.

The liver sorts the blood all day long, even while you sleep.
