Journeys: Brain. Stop 3
Neurons
Zooming in to the brain's cells, the neurons. Pull a thread from the eye to the hand through the neurons.
Neurons hold hands with their threads and pass the signal on to each other.
Pick the nearest neuron, so the signal runs along the chain.
The eye sees the ball, and the hand catches it! The brain has 86 billion neurons. Tap the eye again!
The more you practise, the thicker the path and the faster the signal. That's how you learn to read or ride a bike.
